*Spokesman Kevin Holbrook says the arson investigation was opened when a 21-year-old woman reported that someone had entered her car in the 2200 block of Cannon Ridge Court, and she discovered that “the middle console had burn marks on it” but there was “no fire at the time.”

*The incident involving a gun occurred at the Budgetel Inn on Jesse Jewell Parkway. A security guard at the motel told police “A vehicle pulled in with loud music, (and when he) asked them to leave, subject brandished a small handgun, left the area,” Lt. Holbrook said.

*The burglary occurred at a business on Butler Parkway. The police report says entry was made by breaking a glass door. The owner reported that $1,000 worth of vapes had been taken.
