The Buford Planning Commission (BPC) is scheduled to hear a rezoning and annexation request Oct. 8 for a tract of land in Hall County next month.
The two-acre site is in the 4600 block of Bennett Road and is currently zoned AR-III (Agricultural-Residential Three). The proposed zoning is M-1 (Light-Industrial). The announcement of the planning commission’s agenda makes no mention of the any proposed use for the property.
Once the planning group makes a recommendation for or against the application, the matter is scheduled to be taken up by the Buford City Commission (BCC) Nov. 4.
The application is the latest in a string of such proposals involving Hall County properties.
