No injuries in E. Hall house fire; two people displaced

No one was injured in a house fire in the East Hall area Friday morning.

HALL COUNTY FIRE RESCUE (HCFR) NEWS RELEASE:

“At approximately 8:40…Hall County Fire Rescue responded to the 2600 block of Cornelia Hwy. Upon arrival, crews found a small single-story residential structure with smoke and flames showing.

The crews began a fire attack from the interior of the home while completing their primary search. The homeowners were not inside of the residence at the time of the fire. 

The bulk of the fire was extinguished quickly and all remaining hot spots that were found in the attic. No one was injured…and the American Red Cross was notified for two adult residents.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time and under investigation by the Hall County Fire Marshal’s Office.”
