The investigator who leads the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) unit for the Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO), Adam Faulkner, was recently recognized with the Modern Woodmen Fraternal Financial Hometown Heroes Award.
The ICAC conducts investigations involving the sharing of illicit materials/media of children across the internet.
“As you might imagine, investigating crimes in which children are victimized is one of the most difficult jobs in law enforcement,” a HCSO Facebook posting reads. “Investigator Faulkner does his job with dedication and excellence.”
