A 19-year-old man is being held without bond in the Hall County Jail following his arrest one day after a weekend robbery in Gainesville.
“Police responded to a report of a robbery on Saturday…around 12:30 p.m. at 1050 Eagle Eye Road,” Gainesville Police spokesman Kevin Holbrook wrote in an email Monday.” The male victim stated subject in an older Toyota Camry approach(ed), pulled a gun and demanded his Nike shoes.”
Through the investigation, Lt. Holbrook said, “(Kanyre Ry’Quan Hopkins) was named a suspect, a warrant was obtained, he was arrested during a traffic stop on Sunday…”
