Hall County, the Gainesville-Hall Metropolitan Planning Organization (GHMPO) and the cities of Flowery Branch, Gainesville and Oakwood are developing a Safety Action Plan to “reduce crashes and enhance safety” in the area.
What is the Safety Action Plan?
According to the GHMPO website, it’s “a strategic roadmap designed to identify, address, and mitigate traffic safety issues within a specific area. This comprehensive plan includes data analysis, public engagement, and the development of targeted strategies to improve road safety for all users.”
A public meeting is planned Aug. 22, 5:00-7:00, at the Hall County Government Center.
In addition to the meeting, there’s a survey that you can take which can be found on the GHMPO website.
