Some upgrades are in the making at Laurel Park and that means a couple of popular amenities will be either unavailable for a time or available but with some temporary changes.
First of all, the small playground is getting a major upgrade The old structure has been sent off to “retirement,” according to a Hall County Parks & Leisure Services Facebook post, “and plans are in motion for a brand-new, improved playground.”
Secondly, parks maintenance crews are working on the bridge portion of the trail at the park.
“While the trail remains open, please follow the temporary detour around the work area,” the Facebook entry continues. “We know this may be an inconvenience, and we thank you for your patience. The project is expected to be completed within one month…”
