Dispute over vapes, beer ends with jailing of S. Hall man

A dispute over vapes and beer Wednesday night ended with a 27-year-old South Hall man in jail charged with three counts of aggravated assault after he allegedly threatened three people with a knife.

Oakwood Police spokesman Stewart Webb said officers responded to Audobon Apartments in reference to a subject making threats. Upon arrival, according to Sgt. Webb, officers met with three victims standing outside Building 200. They told officers that Curtis Tucci had approached them with a knife in a threatening manner. Tucci accused them of stealing vapes from him and, they said, returned to his apartment.

Officers made contact with Tucci at his apartment and were able to talk to him about this incident. He told officers that he confronted the three victims with a knife because one of them had stolen beer and vapes from him, Sgt. Webb added.

Tucci was subsequently arrested and charged with three counts of aggravated assault.
