An accident over the weekend in South Hall occurred when the driver tried to avoid a deer in the road but there were no injuries.
It happened about 3:30 on Thompson Mill Road, according to the Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO).
“The driver told our deputy she swerved to avoid a deer on Thompson Mil Road in the area of Spout Springs Road,” HCSO spokeswoman B.J. Williams said Monday morning. “Her vehicle left the roadway and overturned. She struck a mailbox in the process…”
The driver was cited for failure to maintain lane and driving while unlicensed.
