(FROM GEORGIA NEWS NETWORK) – Georgia’s school superintendent says he can’t approve an AP African-American studies course because it breaks state law. Richard Woods told WSB-TV Thursday that some of the framework in the course violates the Divisive Concept Law, which was signed by Gov. Brian Kemp two-years ago. His statement on the matter also included an apology for causing confusion amongst school districts and teachers. Woods decision which was announced several days ago immediately drew criticism from Democrats and activists’ groups.
