Drug distribution, burglary, armed robbery

*A 36-year-old man is being held in the Hall County Jail charged with the manufacture, distribution and intent to sell marijuana. Jail records show he was booked early Friday morning. He is being held without bond on that charge. He faces four other drug-related charges and one of giving a false name to police.

*A residential burglary was reported Friday in the 4500 block of Bennett Road. A Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) report says there were signs of a forced entry.

*In addition, a 35-year-old man is facing charges of burglary, theft by taking (greater than $1,500), and a license plate violation. He was arrested Friday afternoon and is being held on $5,830 bond although no bond has been set on the burglary charge.

*The reported armed robbery occurred in the 6900 block of Cleveland Highway in Clermont early Friday morning, according to the sheriff’s office.

Detailed information on each of these is not likely to be available before Monday morning when law enforcement offices reopen after the weekend.
