GSP NARRATIVE:
“On Sunday 8/13/23, at approximately 8:21 pm, the Georgia State Patrol was requested to investigate a traffic crash on SR 323, Gillesville Hwy, near Joe Parker Road in Hall County.
A 2000 Ford Mustang, driven by Edwin Jorge age 27 of Gainesville, was traveling east on SR 323. A 2007 Nissan Armada, driven by a 17 year old male of Gainesville, was traveling east on SR 323. The Ford Mustang crossed the center line, and the left side of the mustang struck the left side of the Armada.
Mr. Jorge was cited for Failure to Maintain Lane, Driving while Unlicensed, Driving Under the Influence, Hit and Run/ Leaving the Scene of an Accident, and Tire Requirements.
Mr. Jorge had a complaint of injury and was taken to NEGA Medical Center by the investigating Trooper then to Hall County Detention Center for booking.”
