Libbie Armstrong, a school administrator in Hall County, has been chosen principal of Lumpkin County Middle School (LCMS) effective with the coming school year.
“(Armstrong’s) extensive experience, visionary leadership, and unwavering commitment to student success make her a perfect fit for this role,” Lumpkin Schools Supt. Sharon Head said in a news release. “We are confident that under her guidance, Lumpkin County Middle School will continue to flourish as a beacon of educational excellence.”
Armstrong, who lives in Lumpkin County, has served as Assistant Principal and Athletic Director at Chestatee Academy in Hall County since 2012.
