A single-vehicle accident Friday afternoon that left one person dead and another injured resulted in part of Georgia 115 being closed for almost four hours.
It happened about 1:00 at Half Moon Court.
The injured was taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville. The other person involved was pronounced dead on the scene.
Ga. 115 was shut down in both directions between Fred Pitts Road and initially Habersham Mills Road then McConnell Road until about 5:00 p.m.
