Hall County Deputy Clerk Abril Olivas has been named Clerk for Barrow County Government. Olivas, a graduate of Johnson High School, will assume her new duties June 3.
“Abril brings a high level of skill, knowledge and energy to this role. Her overall experience in administrative and local government roles will make her a valuable asset to the county,” said Srikanth Yamala, Barrow County Manager.
Olivas worked in the private sector as a legal assistant for 11 years before her career in local government.
”I’m excited about this opportunity, and I look forward to providing the highest quality service to the board, staff and the citizens of Barrow County,” said Olivas.
