At least ten roads are closed this morning in Habersham County because of downed trees, power lines, and/or flooding. And some state highways are also closed.

“Habersham County Public Works, Emergency Services, Sheriff’s Office, and other personnel continue to deal with the impacts of the overnight severe weather.
As of 8:15 a.m. today (Thursday, May 9), numerous roads are closed.
Trees down:
- Garrison Road
- Echota Road
- Daniel Road
- Yearwood Road
Trees down with power lines:
- Hills Mill Road
- Habersham Mills Road
- Alfred Taylor Road
- Riverbend Road
Flooding:
- Rock Road
- Dicks Hill Parkway”
