A Cumming podcaster has been nominated for a Webby. Webbys are awards for excellence on the internet.
But Scott Merritt has some stiff competition. Other nominees include former first lady Michelle Obama, which he recently acknowledged on his podcast’s website: Webby Awards Archives – Second Act Stories

Merritt’s website describes Second Act Stories, nominated in the “Advice and How-To” category, as “a podcast sharing stories of people who have made major career changes to pursue more rewarding lives in a second act. The stories are in their own words and the words of friends and family that helped them find a new path.”
Merritt, a public relations specialist, did just that when the pandemic hit, and millions of people lost their jobs.
