A 78-year-old Hall County woman was being held without bond Friday afternoon following her arrest on an arson charge Thursday. Nga Thai Boston is charged with setting fire to a house on Glenn Burtz Road. .
Hall County Fire Rescue (HCFR) got the call about 4:30 Wednesday morning to the 5900 block of Glenn Burtz Road. Firefighters arrived to find the back exterior door of the home burning and were able to extinguish the flames quickly using a water can, HCFR spokeswoman Kimberlie Ledsinger said. An investigation conducted after the fire was out determined the blaze had been intentionally set, Ledsinger added.
Boston was arrested Thursday and charged with arson in the second degree.
