GA. STATE PATROL NARRATIVE:
“On April 4, at 2:34 PM, troopers responded to Georgia 136 and Short Road in reference to a multi-vehicle crash.
The investigation revealed that Vehicle 2, a Honda Pilot driven by Malinda Foote 59 YOA of Gainesville, was traveling east and slowing to turn left into a private drive.
Vehicle 1, a Nissan Sentra drive by Bartolo Perez 28 YOA of Gainesville, was behind vehicle 1 and following too closely attempted to miss striking the Honda but did so.
After the initial impact, vehicle 1 crossed the center line and struck vehicle 3, a Chrysler Pacifica driven by, James Rose (54 YOA of Winterville), who was traveling west on Price Road.
Driver 1 was cited for following too closely and had no injuries. Driver 2 and three juveniles had complaints of injuries. Driver 3 had minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.”
