Casino Samuel Gomez-Perez, 25, a Gainesville resident, is being held at the Hall County Jail in connection to a sexual assault that occurred over the weekend.
Sunday, just before noon Hall County sheriff’s deputies responded to residence on East Ridge Road following a 911 hang up call. They located Gomez-Perez at the residence along with the female victim who had placed the 911 call. An infant was also present.
The investigation has thus far determined Gomez-Perez had sexual intercourse with the victim against her will, according to the sheriff’s office, but the investigation is continuing.
Thusfar, Gomez-Perez is charged with rape, false imprisonment, battery under the Family Violence Act (FVA) and 911 obstruction. He was taken to the Hall County Jail where he is being held with no bond and has also been placed under an immigration hold.
