Plans for a 40-lot single-family housing development will be back before the Flowery Branch City Council when it meets Thursday night.
According to the agenda for the meeting, the developers, Edge City Properties, Inc., is requesting that 14 acres at Spring and Gainesville streets be rezoned to clear the way for the development.
There was a public hearing December 7 for the consideration of the rezoning request. On December 21, the item was on the council agenda as a work session item only. This week’s will be the first vote and the schedule is to have another work session, if requested, on January 18 and a final vote on February 1.
