“On Saturday, November 11, 2023, at around 8:00 PM police responded to a shooting at 1736 Atlanta Highway. A 16-year-old male victim was found with a gunshot wound to the abdomen. The juvenile was transported to NEGMC in stable condition.
Police obtained information that led to a vehicle and subject description. Deputies with the Hall County Sheriff’s Office located the vehicle on Atlanta Highway and detained 3 juveniles. The shooter, a 15 year old male, fled on foot.
Police charged the 3 juveniles (15, 16 & 16) with party to the crime of aggravated assault and obstruction. The shooter was arrested on November 13, 2023, at a Gainesville residence and charged with aggravated assault. All four of the detainees are being held at the Gainesville RYDC (Regional Youth Development Center).”
