3 left homeless after W. Hall house fire

“At approximately 9:00 a.m. (Sunday) Hall County Fire Rescue responded to the 3000 block of Lake Ranch Dr. in Gainesville for reports of a roof fire. The first arriving engine crew discovered heavy fire coming from the attic of the residence.

Aerial operations were utilized for fire attack on the roof, partially knocking down the flames. Crews continued their efforts on the exterior of the structure until the fire was knocked down…

No one was injured on the fire scene and the primary search was all clear. The American Red Cross has been notified for three adults and two pets. Unfortuantely, the structure was deemed to be a total loss.

The cause of the fire is unknown and under investigation by the Hall County Fire Marshal’s Office.”
