28 arrested at Emory during Israeli-Hamas War protest

Close to 30 people are facing charges from a protest at Emory University.

Records show the arrests were over a mix of disorderly conduct, obstruction and other counts.

Protestors are pleading with the school to separate itself from companies supporting Israel’s current military efforts.

One student told the AJC that the amount of police officers that showed up was unnecessary and alarming.  

The Emory protests and arrests come as protests mount at college campuses across the country. As some universities negotiate with pro-Palestinian protesters, others quickly call the police – SRN News
