A 27-adre site at 475 Underwood Farm Road in Cleveland may one day house a mix-used development. The property is just off Donald E. Thurmond Parkway and across from a new Walmart.
Grace of Georgia Developments LLC says on its website the proposed project “aims to serve the community and bring essential services with a thoughtfully designed development consisting of three separate buildings.” Plans call for one building housing a 60-bedroom assisted living facility, a six-room medical office complex and a 40-bedroom hotel.
“A significant need for these services was identified, and this development will enhance quality of life to reflect this,” the developers say.
