The Hall County bus collided with a car that turned into its path on Atlanta Highway near I-985, according to the state patrol.
“4 students were on board from West Hall High and West Hall Middle,” Hall County School District (HCSD) spokesman Stan Lewis wrote in an email. “Two high school students were transported to the hospital at the request of parents as a precaution.”
Lewis added that the high school principal went to the hospital with the students who were released after they were “checked out.”
Another bus picked up the remaining students and took them to school.
The driver of the car, who was charged with failure to yield the right-of-way and driving with a suspend license, was hospitalized.
