A 16-year-old has been cited for faulty tires and failure to maintain lane in connection with a two-vehicle accident early Wednesday evening on Clarks Bridge Road.
The state patrol says he was northbound and ran off the road and struck a power pole support wire causing the pole to fall onto the roof of a southbound vehicle, driven by Bailee Ann Fair, 18, of Gainesville.
No injuries were reported.
