Property crimes investigators with the Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) are searching for suspects in a recent residential burglary in Flowery Branch in which items worth at least $15,000 were taken. The residents of the home on Yewtree Drive reported the break-in to deputies on Tuesday.
“They had returned home from an out-of-town trip and discovered a broken window where the suspect or suspects made entry,” sheriff’s office spokeswoman B.J. Williams said. “The residents reported a number of valuables had been stolen from the home, including a safe containing cash, a jewelry box with several expensive watches and other jewelry, electronics and a firearm.”
The value of the stolen property was estimated at about $15,000, although the victims continue to assess what items are missing.
