157 new, single-family homes on FBCC agenda this week

More than 150 new, single-family homes are scheduled to be considered by the Flowery Branch City Council (FBCC) when it meets Thursday.

One item on the agenda is plans for 117 houses on 23 acres in the 5100 block of Church Street. PR Land Investment is the applicant, and the tract includes several acres not in the city when the developers wish to be annexed and combined with the rest of the property which is already inside the city limits.

The remaining 40 homes on the agenda are part of a plan by Edge City Properties for a subdivision in the 5400 block of Gainesville Street. The council is being asked to consider second reading of this application.
