The Forsyth County sheriff is warning of the dangers of an interactive game among some middle and high school students.
In a Facebook post, Ron Freeman said the game that involves the use of realistic-looking toy guns needs to stop as innocent as it may seem.
It was just one part of an end-of-the-school year message Freeman posted on social media.
Freeman noted that as schools across the country move closer to the end of the school year, there is always a noticeable increase in “silliness with some stupid act” that is going to have repercussions.
He reminded readers of the recent incident in which a middle school student brought a loaded gun to school and one student of knew what was going on failed to report is and even posted about the incident on social media.
The bottom line, Freeman said, is “If you make, even what you consider a joke to one of our schools, I hate to say it, but you’re going to jail.”
