$100K shot in the arm for Sawnee EMC

The Sawnee Electric Foundation (Foundation), the charitable arm of Sawnee Electric Membership Corporation (SEMC), is the recipient of an unprecedented donation of $100,000 from True Natural Gas, Sawnee EMC’s preferred natural gas provider.

The money will enhance the Foundation’s ability to support local communities and provide further assistance to charitable organizations in the Sawnee EMC area, which includes parts of Hall County. The funds will be utilized to support various Foundation initiatives, including local non-profit assistance, supporting innovative educational projects through Bright Ideas and other various programs that align with the Foundation’s mission of improving the quality of life for those in local communities.

“We are incredibly grateful for this generous support from True Natural Gas,” said Blake House, Sawnee EMC’s Vice President of Member Services. “This donation will enable the Foundation to extend its reach and provide much-needed assistance to our community,” he further stated. The Sawnee Electric Foundation operates with the belief that strong communities are built on the foundation of compassion and support. With contributions like this from True Natural Gas, the Foundation can expand its work in the local communities Sawnee EMC serves.
