Barrow County Judge Nicholas Primm said Monday that jury selection for the trial of the father of the accused Apalachee High School shooter will begin Sept. 8 – and the defense lawyer is not happy with his decision to have a jury from Hall County hear the case.
Brian Hobbs argued for a location farther away from Barrow to minimize media impact, while prosecutors contended that the case had received widespread coverage throughout Georgia.
The trial is expected to last about three weeks.
