Lanier Tech President Tim McDonald notified college personnel earlier this week about the finalized two-year road reconstruction project at the college’s Hall County Campus.
“…Lanier Tech’s Hall Campus is set for a major traffic upgrade to the campus entrance via Georgia Highway 365,” McDonald said. “This upgrade will ultimately include a flyover bridge, allowing campus ingress and egress without requiring a risky left-hand turn against traffic.”
The construction will begin in the coming months with an approximate two-year construction timeline.
“However, we will dismantle our entrance sign to allow the utility work and roadway realignment due to necessary utility realignment along Lanier Tech Drive,” McDonald continued. “We will reinstall the entrance sign when we have assurance that it no longer conflicts with road construction.”
He said work on the sign and a couple of utility poles will begin “in the coming days.”
