A teenage murder suspect, on the run since April 2024, has been captured.
Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) spokesman Derreck Booth confirmed Thursday morning that sheriff’s investigators picked up Kyland Rochod Williams, 18, Wednesday. “Our team found/arrested Williams during a drug investigation…,”Booth wrote in an email. Hall County Jail records show he was booked about 9:30 Wednesday morning.
Details surrounding his arrest were not immediately available, but Booth said they are forthcoming.
Gainesville Police had been looking for Williams since April 2024 in connection with the murder of another teenager.
