Tech colleges booming; Best place to live in USA; Atlanta airport passenger outlook

*Georgia’s trade schools are booming with 18 programs of study being tuition-free, due to a shortage of workers in those fields and appealing to students avoiding the burden of student debt.

*The best place to live in the country is in the Atlanta area, according to a new study. U.S. News and World Report just put out a new list of the 250 best places to live in the U.S., which places Johns Creek at #1 overall.  

*The TSA is preparing for heavy travel at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport over the next week. Around 2.6 million people are expected to travel through the airport from today through May 28, which is up slightly from the same time period in 2024. The busiest day is likely to be Friday, the kickoff to the Memorial Day weekend. Passengers are encouraged to arrive between two-to-three hours early.
