*A woman from Jeffersonville, in middle Georgia, Tiffany Slaton, was found alive after going missing for nearly three weeks while camping in the Sierra Nevada mountains. She disappeared on April 24 near Shaver Lake in Fresno County, California, and was reported missing five days later. 41 NBC reports Slaton, who was caught in a blizzard, found her way to a cabin at Vermilion Valley Resort. The cabin owner, who leaves the door unlocked for hikers, discovered her. The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office reported she was dehydrated but otherwise healthy and was taken to a hospital for evaluation.
