FLOWERY BRANCH POLICE DEPT. NEWS RELEASE:
“On April 25…a Flowery Branch Police Officer observed a vehicle failing to maintain a single lane of travel.
The Officer conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle for the observed violation and found the vehicle was being operated by Jacob Panzer, 25, of Flowery Branch. During the traffic stop, it was discovered Mr. Panzer was in possession of a small quantity of methamphetamine, drug- related objects, and several pieces of counterfeit currency. Mr. Panzer was arrested and charged with failure to maintain lane, possession of drug-related objects, forgery, and possession of methamphetamine.
While conducting further investigation after Mr. Panzer’s initial arrest, Flowery Branch Police Officers conducted a search of Mr. Panzer’s cell phone and discovered identifying information belonging to three other individuals. Investigators confirmed Mr. Panzer possessed the identifying information without the consent or authorization of the owners.
On Wednesday…Mr. Panzer was charged with three counts of Identity Theft/Fraud.”
