UPDATE, 3a.m. – All roads now open.

“𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘, 𝟵𝗽.𝗺. – The following locations still have road blockage due to downed trees and power lines. Deputies are awaiting power company crews.

3300 BLOCK OF CHESTATEE ROAD

4900 BLOCK OF HOPEWELL CHURCH ROAD

SHIRLEY ROAD AT MOUNT VERNON ROAD

𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗚𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝗣𝗢𝗦𝗧 – Hall County Sheriff’s deputies ask that motorists slow down and expect some delays throughout the county. Deputies and Hall County Public Works crews are responding to roughly 20 reports of fallen trees on roadways due to evening thunderstorms. Please be patient as crews clear the roads.”

“9:14pm – ROAD CLOSURE – South Chestatee St (Texaco Croemn Mountain) this will be CLOSED FOR APPROXIMATELY 4 HOURS – use alternate route

The heavy rain and severe wind has brought down trees and many traffic lights are out in town. Crews are out working very hard.

IF A TRAFFIC LIGHT – UTILIZE THE INTESECTION AS A 4-WAY STOP
