(FROM GA. NEWS NETWORK) – The Atlanta State Farmers Market was the site Monday of the largest meth drug bust in Atlanta history.
Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) agents were tipped off to a tractor trailer heading to the farmer’s market in Clayton County and found 2,0002 of meth hidden amongst produce. Atlanta DEA Agent Robert Murphy told reporters the find was of historic proportions.
The DEA says a bust of this magnitude usually only happens at the U.S.-Mexico border.
