GEORGIA STATE PATROL (GSP) NARRATIVE:
“(Saturday) at approximately 11:10 a.m., a Trooper from GSP Post 6 responded to the intersection of SR 347 (Friendship Road) and Ridge Road to investigate a traffic crash.
Upon arrival, the Trooper determined a 2018 Chevrolet Colorado was traveling east on SR 347 (Friendship Road) driven by, Jason Studdards, age 49 of Braselton, GA. Mr. Studdards had two passengers with him, Mrs. Alison Ray…and Mrs. Albury Ray…both of Fayetteville, GA. A 2014 Lexus IS 250 was traveling north on Ridge Road driven by Wanda Parker, age 72 of Buford, GA.
Mr. Studdards ran the red light at the intersection and struck the left side of the Lexus with the front of his vehicle. The Lexus came to an uncontrolled final rest facing east in the westbound lanes on SR 347. The Colorado came to an uncontrolled final rest facing west in the middle of the intersection.
Mrs. Parker was transported to Northeast Georgia Medical Center for the treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
The intersection of SR 347 (Friendship Road) and Ridge Road was shut down for approximately 30 minutes.”
