No serious injuries in S. Hall rush-hour crash

No one was seriously injured in a wreck in South Hall about daybreak Wednesday that closed two lanes of a busy road for a time.

GEORGIA STATE PATROL (GSP) NARRATIVE:

“..at approximately 6 a.m., a Post 6 Trooper responded to…Friendship Road and Distribution Parkway to investigate a traffic crash. 

Upon arrival, the trooper determined a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by Enedino Aguirre, age 56, of Dahlonega, was traveling west on Friendship Road. A 2014 Honda Accord, driven by Jose Lopez, age 26, of Buford, was traveling east on Friendship Road. Mr.  Aguirre failed to yield while turning left as he attempted to turn onto Distribution Parkway.  The Silverado and the Accord collided within the intersection and came to an uncontrolled rest in the eastbound lanes of Friendship Rd.

Mr. Lopez had a complaint of injury but declined transport by EMS.  Mr. Aguirre was charged with failure to yield while turning left.”
