*Three people are dead, and six others wounded after gunfire outside the Macon bar about early Sunday. No word on how many shooters or what sparked the shooting at the Midtown Daiquiri Bar and Grill. The No word on circumstances or suspects but a witness – hands bloody from helping a victim – says she heard arguing and then gunfire.
*A north Georgia community is trying to track down some bear cubs. They’ve been spotted wandering around Bent Tree in Pickens County after their mother was reportedly shot to death on Friday. Now, WXIA says neighbors in Bent Tree want to find a wildlife rehabilitation specialist. The Department of Natural Resources told residents it’s possible the cubs could be found and cared for by another bear after a few days.
*Morehouse College is honoring one of its students who died in a 1930 lynching. A rising sophomore and divinity student, Dennis Hubert, 18, was shot to death on a school playground by a white mob that wrongly accused him of harassing a white woman.
