HALL CO. FIRE RESCUE (HCFR) NEWS RELEASE:
“At approximately 6:45 pm, Hall County Fire Rescue responded to the 5200 block of Frazer Road in Buford for reports of a residential fire. The first arriving engine discovered smoke exiting the structure from the top floor above the unattached garage.
Crews began to make an offensive attack from the interior of the structure. The bulk of the fire was extinguished quickly and the primary search was all clear…
The homeowners noted that a lightning strike hit their home during this evenings thunderstorm just before the fire broke out. The Hall County Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating.”
