Another round of stormy weather is forecast Monday, this time a Level 2 threat for the whole state.
“Scattered strong to severe thunderstorms are expected on Monday afternoon and evening across most of north and central Georgia,” a National Weather Service (NWS) advisory says. “Primary hazards with any storms would be damaging wind gusts, though quarter size hail and a brief tornado would be possible.”
The highest risk should come between 2:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.
This threat looms as clean-up continues from the storms that battered north Georgia Saturday night.
