Kemp, Trump huddle; Ga. nurse finalist for global award; More Atlanta airport delays

*(GEORGIA NEWS NETWORK) – Governor Kemp has met with President Trump to discuss joining forces to back a Republican Senate candidate. The AJC says the two met over the weekend to discuss supporting the same candidate running against Democratic Senator Jon Ossoff. There’s no word on whether the two reached an agreement.

*(GEORGIA NEWS NETWORK) – For the second day in a row, Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport had significant delays Monday, this time affecting nearly 650 flights due to FAA disruptions from outdated equipment. The FAA warned that more delays could arise during recovery efforts. Runway equipment problems were blamed for a massive ground-stop Sunday.
