HALL CO. GOVERNMENT NEWS RELEASE:
“This is a reminder that Hall County’s administrative offices, courts, community centers, animal shelter, recycling center, landfill and libraries, as well as the Hall County Government Family Health Center and UGA Extension Office, will be closed on Friday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day.
Hall County compactor sites, as well as essential public safety and public works personnel, will continue services as normal during the federal holiday.
As always, many County services are available online at hallcounty.org at any time. These services include, but are not limited to, renewing a vehicle tag, paying taxes and finding a new pet.
Hall County Parks and Leisure and the American Legion Post 7 will host its annual fireworks display on Friday, July 4, at Laurel Park, located at 3100 Old Cleveland Hwy, Gainesville, GA 30506. The fireworks display will begin at dusk; however, park gates will open at 9 a.m. at a $15 admission fee per vehicle. Other event activities will include music from a live DJ, food vendors, the Splash Pad and more!
Please keep in mind that personal fireworks are prohibited at all Hall County parks.
