Judge affirms jurors in one school shooter trial will come from Hall; HCSO: New lookout for two high-profile fugitives

*The Barrow County father of a suspected school shooter was back in court this week looking to have his charges dismissed. But the judge in Colin’s Gray’s case said “no.” And he reaffirmed that the jury would come from Hall County and that it will be held in Winder and he plans on starting it September 8. Gray’s attorneys had wanted the jury to come from farther away.

*Two on-the-run fugitives are listed with three other wanted men on the Hall County Sheriff’s Office’s (HCSO) latest Wanted Wednesday poster. One, Fidel Alberto Chavez-Mejia, is accused of felony murder among other things and the second, Edward Andrade, is a child sex suspect.
