Jekyll Brewing closing all locations

Jekyll Brewing will close its Gainesville location and all its locations and cease all operations effective Sunday, founder Michael Lundmark says.

The company opened its first Georgia location in Alpharetta in 2013, according to beerstreetjournal.com. In addition to a second Alpharetta location, the others are in Woodstock, Georgia, and Jacksonville Beach, Fla.

Gainesville was the brewery’s third location. It opened five years ago and includes 20 taps, event space, and a full-service kitchen.

Financial reasons and outdated state regulations are given as the reasons for closing.
