Hall County Schools Supt. Will Schofield intends to recommend Suzanne Jarrard as the district’s (HCSD) Assistant Superintendent for Teaching and Learning.
Currently, Jarrard serves as Executive Director for Secondary Education. The recommendation will be made at the May 12 county school board meeting. Jarrard will take on the responsibility of leading teaching and learning across the district—a role currently held by Deputy Superintendent Kevin Bales, who will retire at the end of this school year.
Jarrard has spent her entire career in the Hall County School District, serving as teacher, assistant principal, and principal at both the middle and high school levels. In 2017, she assumed the role of Executive Director of Secondary Education and fulfilled those duties while continuing to serve as principal at Chestatee High School. In 2020, she transitioned fulltime to the central office as Executive Director.
