JEMC Gains More Recognition – Holds Exclusive Certification

Jackson EMC has again been recognized nationally – this time for it’s contact center.

A Jackson EMC news release reports that the local cooperative’s contact center “has been re-certified by the International Customer Management Institute (ICMI), maintaining its distinction as the only electric membership corporation (EMC) in the United States to receive this certification.”

A comprehensive audit of Jackson EMC’s headquarters was conducted by ICMI consultants in May which “included interviews with key members of leadership, a review of more than 50 performance areas, and a deep dive into operational standards and service metrics.”

Director of Customer Service, Brent Cochran, remarked on the recertification by saying, “‘Our team takes great pride in being responsive, efficient and caring. We earned this certification again because we stay focused on what matters most — supporting our members with the kind of personalized care they deserve.'”
